Aim

Adhikara Law Journal publishes original, high-quality research and conceptual articles on Islamic law, with a particular emphasis on contemporary and emerging challenges. The journal provides a platform for critical scholarship exploring the intersection of traditional Islamic legal principles with modern developments such as digital technologies, electronic governance, and artificial intelligence. By addressing both theoretical and practical dimensions, the journal seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and global perspectives on the evolving landscape of Islamic law in the modern world.

Building upon this foundation, Adhikara Law Journal aims to advance scholarly discourse on the transformation of Islamic law in response to legal modernization, globalization, regulatory change, and socio-technological disruption. The journal encourages innovative and critical approaches grounded in maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, justice, legal certainty, and ethical responsibility, particularly within Muslim and plural legal systems.
